CAMPAIGN ACHIEVEMENTS: Post shares doubled, total post engagement increased by 30%
After the budget was handed down each year, we initiated a campaign to celebrate the 'wins' for Ipswich. The goal was to strengthen the association of the MP’s name with positive outcomes for the community. We ran the campaign through email and social media.
This was always a fun campaign as it was full of good news for Ipswich, which resonated with our audience. On social media, the overall content ratio was approximately 75% local announcements and 25% statewide announcements.
Post frequency tripled during the first few days after the budget was announced, which contributed to the “budget buzz” on most Government MP’s social media pages. Post frequency was gradually reduced over a few weeks with less significant announcements.
