The professional stuff

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Media & Communication from the Queensland University of Technology (with Distinction). I majored in Entertainment because my dream job at the time was video production at Buzzfeed (it’s okay, you can laugh).

I have over two years of experience working as an Assistant Electorate Officer for a State Member of Parliament (MP). My responsibilities were diverse, covering various tasks aimed at increasing the MP’s profile in the community. While my CV details these tasks, the TL;DR is communications, stakeholder management/engagement, events, and admin.

I switched to a part-time retail job in July 2022 to study Biomedical Science with the intention of eventually studying medicine. However, after some soul-searching, I realised that medicine is not for me and paused my studies in 2023. I’m keen to re-enter the creative field, preferably with a company that throws kick-ass Christmas parties.

More about me

I grew up in Maryborough, Queensland. I love to run, I’m a huge Swiftie, and I’ve watched The Office (U.S.) series more times than I can count. Pam and Jim 4eva.

I also have a passion for photography. My pride and joy is my Sony A6400, and it was with me at all times on my trip to Japan in 2023. You can read more about my trip on the travel blog I share with my partner.
